Southampton (4) vs. Brentford (1)
Southampton struck early and often in the match. In the fifth minute, one of the best corner kickers in the PL, James Ward-Prowse, made a beautiful kick that only needed a slight change of direction from Jan Bednarek to put the Saints ahead. Brentford responded with a beautiful volley by Vitaly Janelt in the 23rd minute. It was all Southampton from that point on. They scored three more goals and put the match away.
West Ham (2) vs. Norwich (0)
The man of the match absolutely earned his title with his performance in this match. Jarrod Bowen has been steadily putting in impressive performances. On this night, he truly showed how good of a footballer he is. He scored both goals for the Hammers. Once with a brave header to the opposite post, and the second was a redirection in the box. He was all over the ball and could have increased his goal total on the night, including a disallowed goal. The victory over Norwich put West Ham in the top four, two points ahead of Arsenal.
